Selecting the materials
Cedar, walnut, olive, padauk, azobé, bamboo, Provence cane: each essence is chosen for its voice, its grain and its scent.
Hand-shaping
Sawing, hollowing the bore, cutting the holes: the wood slowly reveals itself, under the hand.
Crafting
Wall thickness, hole placement, bore length: everything is decided to the tenth of a millimeter so the breath finds its way.
Tuning
Note after note, by ear, at the 432 hertz frequency — the one that soothes, the one that connects.
Personalization
The wood, the note, the finish: wood-burning, resin, carved totem. Every flute becomes a personal piece.
Finishing
Fine-grain sanding, final checks, first breath tests: the flute is ready only once it sings.
