This native flute is made from maple with Wenge joints, it is a unique model. Wenge is a hard wood, black and dark brown in color which brings a contrast to the flute. Maple is softer with its white / yellow color and marbled reflections brings vitality to the flute. The southern end of the flute is finished with azobe, a very hard African wood in order to bring a small brown demarcation
